The brief
A room that graduates with him.
He had outgrown a kid's bedroom long before his family did. He wanted a place to practice, listen to records and unwind, and he wanted it to still feel right when he comes home from college.
- Deep navy on every surface, walls to ceiling, so the room feels calm and finished
- The closet rebuilt as a lit media wall with storage for clothes, records and cases
- His instruments hung as art, with music prints over a long walnut dresser
- The keyboard placed under the window for daylight practice

Material palette
Navy, olive and warm walnut
Four materials carry the room. Navy wraps every surface, walnut warms it, and olive linen and charcoal tweed bring in texture that will age well with him.
